DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL
School & School is a different Art & Design school for children and young people. A place where art is inspired by the imagination! In all of our Art & Design programs, learning and fun goes hand in hand. Throughout the course, children will have the opportunity to discover some of the most memorable and most innovative ways to express their own inner feelings and observations through artistic creation. Aware that younger generations enter the classroom to find the open and encouraging world of art and the environment a lot of opportunities, for this very reason, we have created a school of full love for artistic expression.
Guided by professional artists, children will be motivated to imagine, design, create and build, also to learn about the history of art, stylistic principles, materials, how-to processes, which should be developed and developed by their inner artist or a flourish world-class designer.
The Art & Design School program culminates in the last week of the school, where students can demonstrate what they learned during schooling. Pupils will be able to share their creations with friends and family in the 60 minutes of the final show.
“Nobody has exclusive right to Mars, yet again, we all have a responsibility for mankind.” That is exactly the principle from which this unique interdisciplinary program has emerged, which aims to create an inspirational educational environment where children and teenagers of BiH, as well as the regions have the ability to take an active part in collecting and processing data, responding to raised and unsettled issues, and overcoming all of the existing and upcoming challenges of colonizing Mars, but also of all other planets of the solar system and deep space. Using the information of science, profession and enthusiast of the interplanetary journey, students of School & School STEM will study 10 disciplines (physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, aeronautics, computing, programming, robotics and mathematics) for four years interacting with the case study “Travel to Mars”, after which they will be ready to compete in the most prestigious educational institutions of the world, national space programs, but also all other research programs dealing with space exploration for a better tomorrow for the whole of mankind. In the end, the School & School STEM program participants will be able to impose themselves through numerous start-up incubators as future successful entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers.
Why “Travel to Mars”?
Mars is a very rich destination for scientific discoveries as well as for robotic and human research aimed at extending our presence in the solar system. Creation and evolution of Mars are comparable to that of Earth, which helps us to learn more about the history and future of our own planet.
Mars in the past had the right conditions for life, while future research could give the remaining answers and evidence of life, responding to one of the fundamental mysteries of the cosmos: Is life out of the Earth? Also, there is a necessity to ensure the continuity of the human civilization in the case of catastrophic scenarios that might eventually affect the planet Earth, and thus jeopardize the survival of human civilization. That’s exactly what our mission is – Explore the possibility of colonizing a Mars for the benefit of the whole humanity!
“Travel to Mars” is an ideal case study for students of elementary and secondary education, where the synergy of scientific disciplines and the final implementation project in an interesting and creative way can transfer the essential knowledge of the existence of everything, life, structure, mechanism and movement. The best part of the program is that everything can be expressed in mathematics and logic!
Passion for research, numeracy, critical thinking and innovation are desirable characteristics of our future trainees.
AMBIENT & ATMOSPHERE
Interior design is a reflection of who we are and what we are doing! For this reason, the location, space, interior decoration and the atmosphere of the school is of great importance because it represents our informal and modern lifestyle. Atmosphere at school is the most important thing! It is a unique package of everything we present, happiness, joy, positive energy, love, satisfaction, and faith in what we are doing. All classrooms meet the most educational and technological criteria for performing contemporary interactive teaching.

MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM
I YEAR - EARTH (age 8+)
An interdisciplinary program for 8+ years of age created with the aim to develop analytical-critical thinking and ability to solve complex and moderate mathematical and logical problems in children. The focus is on the knowledge of the laws of physics expressed through mathematics and the influence of the same laws on man and his abode on planet earth. During the school year, students will have the opportunity to have an interesting way and practical work through experiments to familiarize themselves with mathematics and physics and their impact on man, and the students will be introduced to biology (the world of cells and organisms), botany (plant world) geology (composition and structure of the earth), chemistry (chemical compounds and compounds), and with the world of modern technology; through computing (work with internal and peripheral computer components, pro-assembly of computers, BIOS / UEFI System Boot). Also, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with them in the basics of software engineering (C ++ on Earth), computer hardware, hardware and computer architecture, with carefully designed challenges and tests that are not worth the evaluation but to awaken the desire for progress! For this age and level of knowledge, we believe that the ideal methodology of learning is “trial and error,” which is why the educational session encourages practice completely, while the theoretical is minimized. Additionally, C ++ practice is partially implemented along with the Arduino curriculum, where for this age are foreseen “Lightning Arduino” projects that contain the basics of studying the basis of electronics and electricity! A special part of the first year of the “Travel to Mars” program is the introduction to aeronautics and aeronautical simulation of flying (getting to know the command board and its functions)
The disciplines to be studied in the first year of the STEM program are: biology (chemistry) and chemistry (chemical composition and compounds), botany (plant life), geology (earth and water), physics & mathematics (legality and impact on humans), ICT & RE (Information & Communications Technology & Robotics Engineering).

EVALUATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND DISCOVERY OF TALENTS
For each group and student individually, a special diary is kept of the results of the student activities performed and the final grade on the monthly, semi-annual and annual basis. The diary contains the results from the teaching process, which records the presence, quality of the tasks performed, the student’s knowledge (quiz), the activity at the moment, and the final monthly test, which analyzes progress, work habits and student motivation. An important part of the diary is the observation and recommendation of the teachers aiming to help the student achieve satisfactory results. In addition to recording and tracking the results of the teaching process, teachers have the task of determining, through direct observation, the frequent or recurring character traits of the students, all in order to recognize and reveal the expressive talents of children.
For children over eight years, the MI8 test is performed based on which we compare the results obtained during the teaching process and the immediate observation, which confirms or does not confirm the previously obtained results of expressing certain talents for each individual student.
Goals of the teaching process
The first goal of such a holistic way of education is to provide students with space and time during which they will have the opportunity to find their passion, and teachers have the opportunity to recognize the student’s talents for certain activities. Another aim is to discover, develop and nurture children’s talents. The third goal is to provide the necessary educational and pedagogical support to the students in their expression. The fourth goal is to build and maintain the self-confidence of the students at the highest level.
Public presentation of the work and acquired knowledge
At the end of each semester (end of December) and school year (half of June), students present their work and gained knowledge at school exhibitions called School & School – ShowDown Expo, where students finally have the opportunity to confirm all their discoveries and acquired potentials.
ShowDown Expo is a public test for all participants in the teaching process.
