School & School announces registration for Summer School 2024 with excursions for children aged 4 to 18 years. Scheduled start June 24, 2024.

DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL

School & School Summer School is a different place of EDUTAINMENT (education + entertainment). A place where, in addition to a good articulation of free time through play, fun and cooking, children learn English, get to know the world of art & design, a unique opportunity to get to know and learn about the basics of modern programming and robotic engineering (development of logical and mathematical intelligence ). Students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the world of technology through play and fun through computer science, visual programming (MIT Scratch EDU) and robotic engineering, structural design with LEGO Technics and LEGO Education WeDo and Boost . Our Art & Design Summer School is a place where art is inspired by the imagination, and learning, fun, and work on projects go hand in hand. At the Summer School of Robotics & Programming, children have the opportunity to study disciplines of the 21st century to learn the basics of information technology, programming and robotics with a focus on research, design, development, testing and performance through practical work at school, but at home and at home.

For this reason, the location, space, interior decoration and the atmosphere of the school is of great importance because it represents our informal and modern lifestyle. BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE SUMMER SCHOOL

Robotech, Art & Design, Little School, Preschool Summer Academy and Roblox Academy programs:

Duration: 2 working weeks (10 working days), 3 working weeks (15 working days), 4 working weeks (21 working days) or 1 week (5 working days)
Fund hours: 40 hours of education + 30 hours of entertainment
Classes: Monday-Friday (weekend rest)
Reception of children: from 07:30 to 09:00
Classes take place: from 09:00 to 16:00
Check-out of children from school: from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m
Age: from 6 to 14 years
Teaching groups: they are formed according to age and level of knowledge. It is possible to form mixed groups.
Maximum number of participants per group: 8
Minimum number of participants per group: 4
Language: teaching takes place simultaneously in B/H/S and English, depending on the average level of the entire teaching group.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL

ROBOTICS & PROGRAMMING

At the Summer School of Robotics & Programming, children have the opportunity to study disciplines of the 21st century to learn the basics of information technology, programming and robotics with a focus on research, design, development, testing and performance through practical work at school, but at home and at home. The goal of teaching is to introduce children to the world of modern technology, to broaden their aspects, point to challenges, opportunities, clear technologies and trends that will be very fast around us. The program has the task of learning children to overcome the challenges of science, informatics, engineering and mathematics. To make them aware that they are also those who can create a beautiful future for the benefit of the entire humanity. Our carefully designed program through work, with a small number of participants in groups, allows children to learn or expand the vocabulary of English in the simplest way, through play and entertainment, and to understand certain engineering concepts and techniques according to their age. In the end, our mission is to provide an affirmative environment for children in which they can discover, develop and be what they are!

ART & DESIGN

Our Art & Design Summer School is a place where art is inspired by the imagination, and learning, fun, and work on projects go hand in hand. During the Summer School, children will have the opportunity to discover some of the most memorable and most innovative ways to express their own inner feelings and observations through artistic creation. Aware that younger generations enter the classroom to find the open and encouraging world of art and the environment a lot of opportunities, for this very reason, we have created a school of full love for artistic expression.

Guided by professional artists, children will be motivated to imagine, design, create and build, also to learn about the history of art, stylistic principles, materials, how-to processes, which should be developed and developed by their inner artist or a flourish world-class designer. The Art & Design summer school is adapted to children’s age, during which the students learn about the basics; Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design. Illustrations, 3D Designs / Sculptures, Photos, Drawing.

The Art & Design School program culminates on the last day when students can demonstrate what they have learned during the 10-day summer school. Pupils will be able to share their creations with friends and family in the 30 minutes of the final show.

LITTLE SCHOOL

School & School is a different school, a place of multidisciplinary education with a focus on discovering and developing multiple intelligences in children. A place where, in addition to a good articulation of free time through play, fun and cooking, children learn English, get to know the world of art & design, a unique opportunity to get to know and learn about the basics of modern programming and robotic engineering (development of logical and mathematical intelligence ). RESORT & FOREST ADVENTURE CAMP

School & School “Resort & Forest Adventure Camp” is located in Gornja Lohinja (Gračanica) and is the first of its kind among our schools, which we are opening again in July for our Schoolers. It is a school in nature where children will spend the whole day outdoors in nature. The goal is for children to become aware of the events around them and their connection with Mother Nature. Children will have an organized all-day stay with plenty of sports, educational and art workshops, including “Hiking zone” walking along marked hiking forest paths (sports walking), “Balance zone” activities that include yoga and meditation. And what is most important for our little ones is an exciting, varied and unforgettable experience that includes the “Water zone” with children’s pools and a water slide for descent, and the “Adrenaline zone” slide with swings and adrenaline zip-line for descent.

PRESCHOOL SUMMER ACADEMY

School & School Preschool Summer Academy will be a unique concept that will include a very small number of students with specialized programs. The goal of the Preschool Summer Academy program is to awaken in children the desire for constant learning, discovering the world and getting to know the other and the different. Through work in a small group, we will work on the development of emotional and social skills that enable quick and easy acceptance of changes and adaptation to different circumstances and phenomena.

The world we live in changes every day, therefore it is important for us to raise children who will accept the coming changes with great interest, be open to lifelong learning and know how to deal with different challenges.

The programs that will be represented in the Preschool Summer Academy are:

EXCURSIONS – during the summer school, they will be held once or twice a week, depending on the availability of locations and weather conditions. Parents will be informed in time about all activities that involve going on trips and moving away from School&School.

ROBLOX SUMMER ACADEMY

At the Roblox Summer Academy classes, children have the opportunity to study the disciplines of the 21st century, to learn the basics of programming with a focus on research, design, development, testing and performance through practical work at school, but also at home if desired.
The goal of the lesson is to introduce children to the world of modern technology, to broaden their horizons, to point out challenges but opportunities, to explain technologies and trends that will be around us very soon.

WHY ROBLOX?
Roblox Studio’s features are accessible to a variety of skill levels ranging from the beginner to the experienced developer. We will introduce Roblox Studio by making an obstacle course. Perfect for beginners, this series covers basics like using interfaces, moving objects, and testing games.
We will learn the basics of coding by building playable objects such as traps or power-ups. Create an adventure game where players explore the world to find items to harvest and sell.

Perfect for those already familiar with Roblox Studio and basic coding concepts up to if/then statements. The tools range from simple manipulation of objects or terrain, to entering complex scripts and game functions. Studio also allows you to test your games in an isolated environment before uploading them to the Roblox website. The games are coded under an object-oriented programming system that uses the Lua programming language to manipulate the game environment.
Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm based on the concept of “objects”, which can contain data, in the form of fields, and code, in the form of procedures.

Our carefully designed program through work, with a small number of participants in groups, allows children to learn or expand their English vocabulary in the simplest way, through play and fun, and to understand certain engineering terms and techniques according to their age.
Ultimately, our mission is to provide an affirming environment for children in which they can discover, develop and be who they really are!

TRPANJ SUMMER CAMP

The Summer Camp in Trpanj aims to provide students with not only a fun summer, but also an opportunity to learn new skills, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop a lifelong love of activities that can benefit them in the future. At this camp we will focus on a holistic approach to health and wellness, including physical exercise, meditation and relaxation techniques. This combination of activities can help children develop emotional intelligence, improve concentration and stress management, and improve their physical health. Camps like this have the potential to transform a child’s summer into an experience they will remember as a time where they learned new skills, made new friends, and discovered new aspects of themselves. The theme of the first camp organized by School & School in Trpanj in cooperation with Yoga studio “Meru” is “Life at sea”. During eight days and seven nights, students will have the opportunity to acquire life skills, have great fun with competitive games, but also relax with yoga and mindfulness meditation, which is intended for children. As part of the theme “Life at sea”, students will have the opportunity to learn when a storm comes, how to read nautical charts, how to prepare seafood, what a visit to a salt pan looks like, which plants grow and develop in Mediterranean areas, and they will be exposed to new challenges every day.
